Citrix - Printing from Chromebook
The Citrix Receiver app for ChromeOS does not support printer redirection like the Windows or MacOS versions do. The only supported method of printing for chromebooks is to print to PDF within the Citrix session which then allows for you to save the PDF directly to your local device for printing.
- In the document you are trying to print, click on File > Print or press Ctrl+P to open the print dialog.
- Select the Workshare PDF Publisher or Nuance PDF from your printer dropdown
- Click the dropdown for Look in: then Select Save to My Device
- Select My Files, give your file a name and then click Save
- Minimize your Citrix session
- Open Files on your Chromebook
- Select My Files, then locate the file that you just created in Step 4 above
- Double click the file to open it in the Chrome PDF Viewer
- Click the Print icon or press Ctrl+P to print the PDF.
