Using Zoom Via Citrix - Windows PCs
In order to use Zoom over a Citrix connection, there is a local plugin that will need to be installed on your computer first. This plugin will allow for your local Webcam and Audio Devices on your computer to interact with the Zoom client that is running inside of Citrix. At this time, the plugin is for Windows PCs only and will not work for Mac or Chromebook installations. I will send out separate instructions for installing and using Zoom locally for anyone without a Windows PC.
Step 1 - Log out of Citrix completely
Step 2 - Download and run the installer from the following link https://zoom.us/download/vdi/ZoomCitrixHDXMediaPlugin.msi
Step 3 - Run the installer that you just downloaded and follow the steps below to complete the installation.
- Click Next
- Click Next
- Click Next
- Click Close
Step 4 - Log back into Citrix. Any future Zoom meetings that you participate in should now be able to function correctly with your Webcam and Audio Devices.
