Author and Typist are changing to random people when I open up an older letter

When I open up a letter that I had previously created, the Author and Typist names are changing to some other random person in the office. Why is this happening and what can I do to stop it?
Answer:
A few months ago we had to rebuild the BigHand Create Author database from scratch because the old database became corrupt. Because of this, when older letters get opened up they are referencing the unique author ID's from the old database which now match up with different names in the new database. This is why when you open up an "older" letter the author information is changing to "random" people when you make changes to old letters.
Unfortunately, according to BigHand support, there isn't anything that we can do to fix this other than to correct the Author and Typist information when we see that it is incorrect.
As new documents are created using the newer version of the database this issue should become less prevalent.
